The Power of Words
Let me tell you something. Do you know the amount of people
dying from motor accident is five times many people dying from smoking? Yet if
I go to buy a car, no body warns me that am liable to die young; not even the
federal ministry of health. Instead they congratulate me.
Do you know the leading cause of cancer is not actually a
cigarette? It’s your DNA. You could smoke for years and nothing will ever
happen to you. After all, the cigarette contains nicotine which helps in
formation of certain important biological molecules needed in the body;
especially in formation of polypeptides.
This whole war against smoking is just to restrict the
consumption of tobacco...
Hold on!
Somehow, you might start to believe me based on what I wrote
above; but I just fabricated them.
I made these
arguments with five of my friends who were smokers before. Two went back smoking. Lolz!
Words when said articulated in the right way can change
someone’s mind. They can alter someone’s belief. You have the power to bring
someone from the slumps of life and make him a successful person out of him; or
destroy someone’s happiness by using only your words.
A simple choice of words can make a difference of someone
accepting or denying your message. You can have a very beautiful thing to say,
but saying it with the wrong words spoils everything.
If you are a person that is admired, anything you say could
be believed. Your lies could be taken as the truth.
Words are power. Power to create and destroy. Words could be your power. No wonder the
Bible says there is power in the tongue.
You can change a life; you can inspire nations. Make this
world a beautiful place; that’s what we all want. Your mouth can spit them in.
Touch a life today! Always use the right words… They have forces working with time. Use them in a good manner; words have powers.
