7 essentials for a healthy relationship

Many relationships have shattered because they lack one or more of these attributes. A relationship that does maintain these attributes can lead to marriage.

Love and Care

Of course, that’s the first and foremost. Love and Care goes hand in hand. But the problem nowadays is that many people, especially teenagers, mistake lust for love.

Communication                            

Yea, any relationship without good communication between both parties can easily shatter. That’s why they say long distance relationship doesn’t last. Not really; it’s just that there is no good flow of communication. And a boy will be dating a girl for like 5yrs; only because the guy got the chance to travel away, and then lost means of communication to his country; the girl after waiting for like 6 months no hi! The girl will just respect herself and get married to another guy. The former coming back, only to discover that his future mama is 9 months pregnant for another man.

Trust

Many relationships lack this attribute, especially among the girls. They only start to trust the man only when he says some things like “will you marry me?” “Will you be the mother of my children?”; and this have shattered many relationship as many girls are on a haste to get married.

Honesty

Honesty is really important in a relationship, which builds trust. This is where I will start to blame the guys. When you lie to your bae, you are giving him or her reasons not to trust you. So some girls will ask “Where is this relationship heading to?” It is heading to heaven where friendship never ends… Lolz!

No Cheating

Cheating destroys everything. When you are cheating on your bae, intentionally or not; alternatively you are calling for break up. Give me reasons why you cheating on him or her? Your answers must fall among these: “not love”  “no trust” “no communication”. So such relationship doesn’t last.

Mutual Understanding

Yea, not actually understanding, but mutual understanding. Man is selfish and self centered by nature; everyone has his or her own personal interest. One might understand the other, but it takes mutual understating to settle each other’s interest.

Respect

This is where guys do make mistake. They think they are the ones that deserves all the respect. That’s not true. You have to respect each other. No one is greater than the other in a relationship. Love makes each other equal.
